Our communities and diasporas commemorate this day not only to mourn the lives lost and the trauma endured but also to honor the strength of those whose memories and existence continue to survive.
We are the children of those who continue to rebuild, reclaim, and remember.
We recognize the weight that war, displacement, and identity have placed on our communities — and we also honor the radical possibilities even in the darkest of times for a new generation. On that note, our Restorative Justice Zine is LIVE at vayla-no.org/restorative-justice-zine-2025.
May narrative plentitude continue to guide us through these times.
May we honor our ancestors by being dutiful to our descendants and the new ways of being – embodied, present, and knowing.
As we transition into a new season of work, we continue our restorative storytelling forums and Cha & Chat meetings. Please support us here.
We will be moving off of meta platforms in the coming season so please share our newsletter and subscribe to stay up to date on our work.
In solidarity,
Dr. Jacqueline Thanh, DSW, AM
